Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Scottsdale is committed to providing high quality care to our clients at the most reasonable cost possible. And further, we understand the expenses relating to specialized veterinary medical and surgical care are often a significant concern for families.
At VSSS, we maintain a single practice standard and use materials, disposables, instruments and implants typically found in hospitals and medical centers - not necessarily animal hospitals. This quality premium may, in some cases, be costly and we understand and try, whenever possible, to provide you with an accurate estimate for the cost of care for your pet.
However, and due to the nature and severity of some conditions, it is not always possible to closely predict outcome and associated costs. Before treatment begins, the VSSS team will provide you with a recommended treatment plan and expense summary. You will be asked to accept and sign this estimate. If significant deviation from the treatment plan occurs (>20%), you will be notified of the added costs before any changes in patient management. If you have any concerns regarding extended costs, please discuss these with your VSSS specialist before treatment begins.
Payment for services is expected at the time of discharge and a deposit will be required if your pet is hospitalized for evaluation or treatments. Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Scottsdale accepts payment by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
